If this is the last episode, then man what a show it was. The trailer for Season 3 showed some scenes not found in the episodes and I was expecting them tbh. Now season 4 would be like him figthing wizards and angels and a dragon appears also like its some sort of holy war. That would be something else I daresay.

I already watched the trailer for season 4 and my thoughts are nothing high yet since I only saw few bits that were intriguing.
Here's my theory on that: Wang Ling is being recruited into joining the Seven Star-Squad or Second that Wang Ling might've been recognized now as the Number One Cultivator only known by few in the Cultivation World.

i think the new studio took some liberties with that teaser trailer. i THINK the guy behind the desk is supposed to be their teacher, remember the fat guy who used to be a tall coool thin assassin or something... they explored his backstory in S1? i think? but, without Esubs i've really no clue what that teaser trailer is trying to say. :>
